Concordia Blanks Lindsey Wilson 3-0 to Advance to Title Match

Daytona Beach, Fla. – The first Semifinal match featured No. 1 seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) going up against undefeated Concordia (Ore.) to determine who would move on to the Championship final.

Concordia took an early 1-0 lead as Jessica Ramback scored the lone goal of the first half on a pass from Shea Miller in the 12th minute. That was the first goal Lindsey Wilson had surrendered since Oct. 15.

The Cavaliers stretched the lead to 2-0 on a goal from Caitlin Verhofstadt in the 75th minute and Jessica Ramback netter her second goal of the evening to make the score 3-0 with just one second remaining in the game.

Concordia improves to 23-0-1 on the year while Lindsey Wilson ends their season at 21-2.

The Cavaliers advance to their second Championship final in school history and will take on the winner of Lee (Tenn.) and Trinity Christian (Ill.) at 6 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, Dec. 6.
