Student-Athletes Receive Champions of Character Recognition at NAIA Soccer Banquet
From the pool of 20 individual Champions of Character award winners, the NAIA men's soccer tournament committee will select one Brine Champions of Character scholarship winner. The award will go to the student-athlete that best exemplifies the Champions of Character and Brine Method ideal throughout the national tournament. The Brine Method is designed to help athletes discover, promote and achieve greatness while developing skills and character values on and off the field.
The NAIA on behalf of Brine will award a $1,000 scholarship to the institutions in the name of each winner at the completion of each tournament.
National tournament play gets underway at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday when defending champion No. 20 Lindsey Wilson goes up against No. 13 Judson.
