- Transportation Library This library, established in 1948, is part of UC Berkeley's Institute of Transportation Studies. The library's holdings are included in the MELVYL online catalog which can be searched via the Web. Air transportation is one of the subject strengths in the library's collection.

- Northwestern University Library
- The Transportation Library at Northwestern is one of the largest transportation libraries in the world. Their collection of books may be searched using the University's online catalog NUcatWeb. Northwestern also maintains an index of magazine articles and conference proceedings called TRANweb. TRANweb, or the Transportation Article File, indexes articles and conference proceedings on all forms of transportation from 1979 to the present.
