The Office of Management and Budget has posted the Budget for the upcoming year and previous years, going back to 1996. The documents are available in PDF format.
Core Documents of U.S. Democracy

FDsys: GPO's Federal Digital System
FDsys is the U.S. Government Printing Office's online repository for official Federal Government publications from all three branches of the Federal Government. It includes publications such as the Budget of the United States Government, the Code of Federal Regulations, the U.S. Government Manual, the Federal Register and the United States Code. All of these government publications and many, many more can be searched or browsed in FDsys. To access a specific publication, click on Browse Government Publications on the left or Browse Collections on the right. To search a specific collection, click on "Advanced Search" next to the search box, select which collection(s) you would like to search, and then type your search term(s) in the Search for box at the bottom of the page.
Federal Register
This version of the Federal Register was created by the Office of the Federal Register (OFR) of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and the U.S. Government Printing Office in attempt to make it easier for the public to navigate and understand. It includes numerous user and navigational aids for ease of use.
Government Accountability Office
The GAO is the investigative and auditing arm of the U.S. Congress. It publishes reports and testimony on a wide range of programs funded by Congress such as airport security, military aircraft, competition in the airline industry, etc. Search by specific report number or keyword. Reports are available pre-1970 to present with most appearing in full-text format.
Occupational Outlook Handbook
The online full text of this publication provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It includes descriptions of jobs, necessary training, job outlook and earnings and is keyword searchable.
Opinions of the Supreme Court of the United States
This website gives full text access to all Supreme Court Decisions and Opinions from Oct. 1991 to present. Click on "Bound Volumes" to access the older years (1991 - 2007). It also includes a Case Citation Finder at the bottom of the page.

Sponsored by the Defense Technical Information Center, DTIC Online searches publicly accessible information sources and includes report citations and many full-text technical reports.
This is the European Patent Offices database of patents which searches patent documents worldwide from 1836 to the present.
Operated by the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), this site is a comprehensive central access point for locating and ordering government information. You can also access full text Supreme Court Decisions from 1937-1975.
Find status of legislation, voting records, committees, etc... Includes bills back to 1993 and links to the Congressional Record.
THOMAS: Legislative Information from the Library of Congress
This site connects users to the full text of major legislation, public laws, and historical documents. It contains sections on Legislation, the Congressional Record, and Committee Information. Under Legislation, a person can search for a bill by number, word/phrase, or browse the listing.
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
This federal agency grants U.S. patents and registers trademarks. It provides a full-text patent and image database covering 1790 to the present as well as a trademark database.

Bureau of Justice Statistics
This site provides the full text of many different reports and statistics gathered by the Justice Department including information on crimes and victims, criminal offenders, law enforcement, prosecution, corrections, etc. Mouseover "Publications & Products" to search for specific documents or to browse publications by topic.
Bureau of Labor Statistics
This site provides information on employment, productivity, benefits, and working conditions, as well as breaking down the Consumer Price Index (CPI) by region or industry. It also contains regional information and publications such as The Occupational Outlook Handbook.

Bureau of Transportation Statistics
The BTS website has a lot of useful information including data and statistics by different modes of transportation. The Airlines and Airports statistics section will lead you to quick facts such as Air Traffic Hubs, Airline and Airport snapshots, On Time statistics, baggage fees, etc. Look for all of this useful information in the Quick Links box of the By Mode, Airlines and Airports section.
County and City Data Books
Provides access to the 1944-2000 County and City Data Books. Subsets are available for 1988-2000. You may search 4 data sets: county, state, city and place ("Census designated places") data.
National Transportation Statistics
Issued annually by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, editions from 2000 to present are available for viewing or downloading. This compendium of statistics includes data on all modes of transportation with emphasis on the economy, environment, safety, and overall performance. Aviation statistics concerning baggage complaints, air carrier delays, and passenger screening are among the many statistics made available.
North American Transportation Statistics Database
This site contains information on transportation and transportation related activities for Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Information can be viewed for each individual country or between countries. Data which can be found includes transportation and economy, transportation safety, transportation and the environment, trade, and passenger and freight activity.
Statistical Abstract of the United States
This source provides excellent statistical information on population, education, crime, transportation, etc. The full text of older versions are available in .pdf format only. A print copy of this edition can be found in the Hunt Library's Reference collection (Ref. HA 202 .U58s 2012).
