FAQs

Q: Why can't Worldwide patrons order books through Interlibrary Loan?

A: Because of the logistics and mail services; the 30 day loan period is simply not enough time to circulate ILL books to the Worldwide community. Interlibrary Loan services are often available from a local public library, and we suggest trying to obtain the necessary titles from these local institutions. Worldwide or Worldwide Online students may request all of the following through Interlibrary Loan: articles from magazines or journals, conference papers, chapters from books, some theses and dissertations, and certain types of technical reports- or in other words, anything that can be photocopied and posted to our website.
