Q: What is the difference between Worldwide Reference services and Interlibrary Loan services?

A: Worldwide Reference provides articles, conference proceedings, and technical reports owned by the Hunt Library to the Worldwide community. They are the first librarians you should contact when making a request since they can accurately inform you whether or not Hunt Library owns the material you need. Interlibrary Loan fills the requests for material that is not owned by Hunt Library. Even though both services post documents in the same manner, they are two separate departments.
