  1. Can I renew the materials if I need them longer?

    If materials are needed beyond the loan period and are not on our reserve list for another campus, we will extend the due date if we are notified. [Back to Top]

  2. Can Voyager help me find videos on my topic?

    Yes, it can. Please see our Using Voyager to Find Videos brochure. This brochure is in PDF format so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to view it. [Back to Top]

  3. How do I request media materials?

    Videos/DVDs can be requested through Voyager by following the steps outlined in the Online Instructions. You can also submit media requests via email, web form, or fax (386-226-7040). Each time you borrow media titles you will need to provide us with all of the following information: " Your name " Your Campus " Your status (faculty, staff, or student) " Contact information " Title of the video/DVD " Call number of the item " Date by which the items are needed Your request will be acknowledged via email within 1-2 business days. Once we have verified you are associated with the campus you have specified in your request, the items will be shipped to that campus. [Back to Top]

  4. What is Films On Demand?

    Films On Demand is a web-based video delivery system from the Films Media Group. Films On Demand provides instant access to a growing collection of quality video titles suitable for both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Videos are available on-demand, 24 hours a day - no order forms, no wait times, and no shipping fees.   5. Can I find specific titles and topics?

  6. How can I get a list of all videos in the library?

    You can get a complete list of videos through Voyager, Hunt Library's online catalog. Select Basic Search, then type in video? and click on the Search button. You may then sort by title, or publication date.

    Alternatively, you may browse the list of video titles (updated quarterly) at DVDs and Videos, A-Z or DVDs and Videos, by Subject. [Back to Top]

  7. How do I download the library's videos onto my iPod or Zune?

    The easiest way to put all of the library's instructional videos on your iPod or Zune is to subscribe to the vodcast (video podcast) feed.

    Subscribe to the Vocast (iPod):

    • Start iTunes and click on Advanced.
    • Click on 'Subscribe to Podcast.'
    • Type in (or copy and paste) the vodcast's URL (http://libraryonline.erau.edu/vodcasts/library.xml).
    • Click on OK.

    Subscribe to the Vodcast (Zune):

    • Start the Zune software and from the Collections view, click on Podcasts.
    • Click on 'Add a podcast.'
    • Type in (or copy and paste) the vodcast's URL (http://libraryonline.erau.edu/vodcasts/library.xml).
    • Click on Subscribe.

    If you prefer, you can also download individual videos rather than subscribing to the vodcast.

    Download a Video (iPod):

    • Right-click on the link to the video in .mp4 format and download it to your hard drive.
    • Start iTunes and navigate to the Movies section of your Library.
    • Click on File > Add File to Library.
    • Browse to the file on your hard drive.
    • Click Open.

    Download a Video (Zune):

    • Right-click on the link to the video in .wmv format and download it to your hard drive.
    • Start the Zune software and go to Settings.
    • In the Videos section of the Collections settings screen, check to be sure that your video is in a folder that the Zune will import from. If it is not, you can add the folder that the video is in.

  8. How do I get access to Films On Demand?

    To get access to Films On Demand, please consult the information found on the Daytona Beach Films On Demand page or the Worldwide Films On Demand page. [Back to Top]

  9. How do I return the materials once I've finished using them?

    Return the media materials to the campus from which you received them. That campus will insure the items will be returned to the Hunt Library Worldwide Media Services area. [Back to Top]

  10. How long may I keep the borrowed items?

    For those associated with a continental USA campus, the loan period is 30 days. For those associated with an Alaska, Hawaii or international campus, the loan period is 45 days. [Back to Top]

  11. How will I receive the items I've requested?

    After the items have been shipped, you and your campus will receive a follow-up email with tracking information. You will then be able to go to your campus to pick up the materials. [Back to Top]

  12. What video materials are available?

    To get a list of VHS and DVD titles that are available through the Hunt Library you can click on Hunt Library Videos and DVDs Listed by Subject or Hunt Library Videos and DVDs Listed A-Z (lists are updated quarterly). [Back to Top]

  13. Who can request videos?

    Worldwide faculty and staff can request media materials (VHS tapes and DVDs) which will be checked out and shipped to the Worldwide Campus with which they are associated. Worldwide students may also request media materials if they are a student of a campus and obtain that campus permission to do so. The campus must communicate that permission to Worldwide Media Services before we can process the request. [Back to Top]
