How do I donate materials to the library?
Gifts are accepted during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8-5). Please bring your donations to the Circulation/Reserve Desk and our staff will be glad to accept your gift. All gifts are evaluated for addition to the collection according to our Collection Development Policy.
Books that are not added to the collection may be placed in the library's annual book sale.
If you would like to include special bookplates in the gifts, or make a monetary donation to buy materials, please call the Acquisitions Librarian at (386) 226-7758. [Back to Top]
How do I get my thesis bound?
Your thesis advisor can give you all the particulars related to this process.
The library adds two copies of each thesis written by an ERAU graduate student to the collection. The student is responsible for bringing the completed paperwork to the library with the copies of the unbound thesis. [Back to Top]
How do I request an in-process item?
Library materials are ordered year-round and are processed in the order they arrive. Many Voyager online catalog records for materials that are not on the shelf yet show the distinctive note: No holdings available -- Ask at Reference Desk. Other order records show the temporary location as: Cataloger's Office in Technical Services or in process.
If you would like more information about an item that says "no holdings," one that is located in Technical Services, or one that is in process, please ask a Reference Librarian for help. [Back to Top]
How does the Hunt Library determine what materials will be purchased?
The library has Collection Development committees that review requests and recommendations from faculty, staff, and students. Decisions are made based on the curriculum, patron needs, library and university goals, materials availability, and budgetary resources. For further information, please see the Hunt Library Collection Development Policy. [Back to Top]
